I have over 30 years experience in the specialty, and have spent most of that time involved with medicolegal work. I pride myself on delivering timely, reasoned, logical, and thorough medical reports. I have acted for both defendants and claimants.

I’ve been a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal United Hospital in Bath for the last 30 years .
I did my undergraduate training in Manchester, and having originally wanted to be a general surgeon, I was introduced to Ophthalmology and realised that I’d found the ideal specialty. The combination of medical and surgical work, and dealing with patients from childhood into old age proved immensely fulfilling. The bonus of restoring vision was icing on the cake.
I started doing medicolegal work quite early on in my career, and I am confident that I can provide clear, comprehensive, and objective reports that provide a well-structured and evidence-based analysis relevant to the legal context.
I completed the Bond Solon Cardiff University Civil Certificate in 2109.
